Each city is tens of megabytes of tiles, streamed as you move, so the first view is up in seconds.

Building footprints with measured roof heights from city open-data portals and lidar, roads, water and land use from OpenStreetMap, street trees from municipal censuses. Landmarks are assembled from their building parts.
A Python pipeline turns the data into a terrain, streets with markings, kerbs and crossings, building shells with procedural facades matched to each city's architecture, rooftops, traffic lanes and tree positions, all cut into streamable tiles.
A three.js viewer on WebGPU (WebGL 2 as fallback) with real sun position, shadows, glass reflections of the skyline, water, moving traffic and a night mode. It draws only when something changes, so an idle tab costs nothing.
